Reactivating Students: Reactivating students should check with Admissions and Veterans Affairs offices to reactivate their files.

Currently Enrolled Students: Currently enrolled, returning students will meet with instructors or advisors prior to registration to complete schedule form.

Dual Enrollment: Classes may be taken concurrently at both Spokane Community College and other colleges, but dual enrollment may cause an overpayment or break in VA monthly payments. Please check with the Veterans Coordinator for more details if you find you must attend another campus.

Residency: Student Services at 533-7019 with residency concerns.

Military Credits: The Veterans Coordinator may evaluate military credits. You may make an appointment by calling 533-7027. You must bring your DD 214 and other substantiating documents (i.e. military transcript) with you to your appointment. Military credits will not be officially recorded on your transcript until you have earned a total of 10 credits at Spokane Community College and made an appointment to have the paperwork processed.

Resident Tuition

$889.50 for 15 cr.
(increases with additional credits)

Non-Resident/U.S. Citizen

$1,064.30 for 15 cr.

Veteran or National Guard Member [must provide DDD214 documentation, live in Washington State and go through financial aid application (FAFSA) process to determine eligibility]

$711.50 for 15 cr.
(increases with additional credits)
+ any applicable fees

Child/Spouse of Totally Disabled or POW/MIA or Deceased Veteran or National Guard Member (Must live in Washington State and provide proof of spouse/parent 100% VA permanent disability or death. Child must submit birth certificate.)

Age and time limits apply.

Tuition and fees may be waived
with appropriate documentation.

Financial Aid: It is possible that you could qualify for Financial Aid even if you are receiving veterans benefits, For more information contact the Financial Aid Office at 533-7017. Please be aware that the amount you receive from the GI Bill will need to be reported on the Financial Aid application.

Important Note: If you are receiving any form of financial aid, save your VA award information letter.  Financial Aid will request a copy of this letter to verify your veteran's benefits.  Also, please be aware that your VA benefits could affect your eligibility for some types of Financial Aid.

Tuition Deferment: If you have concerns regarding your tuition payment please contact the SCC Veterans Affairs office for a possible tuition deferment.
