Resources:

  • Learn about SCC's Math and Science High Demand Transfer Program (HDTP).
  • Liberal Arts Center: At SCC, the Tutoring Center is designed to assist students both in liberal arts classes and in those professional/technical programs requiring liberal arts support.
  • Tutoring in math, English, and a variety of classes offered at SCC is available in the Tutoring Center, and computers are available for student use.
  • In math, the Tutoring Center provides instruction in basic arithmetic and pre-algebra skills for students who might benefit from one-to-one instruction.
  • Counselors and instructors refer students to basic skills classes in the Tutoring Center to work at their own pace on programs earning variable credit. The Tutoring Center is located in Building 1, Room 1220J.
  • Tutorial services are provided for students currently registered in any mathematics course on campus.
  • Videotapes for some math classes are also available at the Media Center, which is located in Building 16.
